Meet Chef D

Cajun Roots. Made by Hand. Served With Love.

I’m DeAndre Daniels, a self-taught chef in Dallas with deep Louisiana roots and a serious love of flavor.

I’m a military brat, and I went on to serve six years in the Army as a logistics Sergeant.

I never trained in a fancy kitchen. I learned to cook because I fell for the craft, and because nothing beats watching someone take a bite and light up. That feeling, the joy good food brings people, is still the whole reason I do this.

Chef D Kitchen Collective was born from a love of food, the traditions of Louisiana, and the belief that some of life’s best memories are made around the table.

From rich vanilla bean cheesecakes and oversized cinnamon rolls to creamy banana pudding and scratch-made pound cakes, every creation reflects a commitment to flavor, quality, and the joy of sharing something delicious.

A Little Louisiana in Every Bite

In Louisiana, food has always been more than something to eat. It’s hospitality. It’s tradition. It’s family, laughter, and memories.

I’m Cajun, raised on Louisiana cooking where flavor is never an afterthought. I’m also a military brat who served six years in the Army, so showing up and getting it right is just how I’m built. Even now, whenever I’m missing home, I get in the kitchen and make a pot of gumbo or red beans and rice, and I feel right at home again.

That spirit is at the heart of Chef D Kitchen Collective.

We take familiar desserts and give them the attention they deserve, creating sweet experiences that feel both comforting and special.

Made With Intention

We believe great desserts don’t need to be complicated. They need to be thoughtfully prepared, made with care, and full of flavor.

These days my heart is in desserts. Cheesecake, pound cake, cobbler, and just about everything in between, made by hand in small batches for the people and moments that matter to you.

Our small-batch approach allows us to focus on the details, from the texture of a cinnamon roll to the balance of sweetness and richness in a cheesecake.

Because when something is made with love, you can taste the difference.
